A plain-language look at how your saved items are kept private, who can see them, and how sharing works.
Private by default
Everything you save in StuffHub (photos, details, and documents) is private to your account by default. Nothing is public or visible to other people unless you specifically choose to share it.
Account access
StuffHub uses passwordless sign-in: you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email instead of a password. There's no password to create, remember, or have stolen in a data breach elsewhere.
Your photos & information
Photos, details, notes, and documents you save are stored under your account and are only accessible when you're signed in, or through a share link you've explicitly created, described below.
Sharing is intentional
Sharing is never automatic. For a specific item, you can choose to create a private, read-only share link. Anyone who has that link may be able to view the shared information for that item, so only share it with people you intend to give access to. You can disable a share link at any time. Documents attached to an item are not included in public share links in this version.
What StuffHub doesn't claim
StuffHub is an early-access product. We don't claim compliance certifications (like SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001), "bank-grade" security, or end-to-end encryption. We're telling you plainly what StuffHub does today, not implying guarantees it doesn't make.
